Benjamin Allen King III passed away on January 5th, leaving behind family, friends, and a community who mourn his loss while holding firmly to faith and hope. He was born in Tustin, California, and grew up in Bakersfield, where his character, values, and love for people were shaped.

Benjamin was a proud graduate of North High School, Class of 2004. From an early age, he demonstrated an excellent work ethic,something that carried with him throughout his life. He worked in the service industry, where he was known for his reliability, dedication, and willingness to step in wherever he was needed. He took pride in his work and in doing things the right way.

A true sports enthusiast, Benjamin had a lifelong love for athletics, especially basketball. He truly loved being a referee and saw it as a way to stay connected to the game and the community he cherished. Through sports, he built relationships, encouraged others, and remained actively involved in something that brought him joy.

Benjamin was social by nature and deeply valued connection. He loved being around people, sharing conversations, laughter, and moments that turned acquaintances into lifelong friends. His presence had a way of bringing people together.

Above all, Benjamin deeply loved his son. His son was the pride of his life and one of his greatest blessings. His love, guidance, and devotion will continue to live on through him.

Benjamin was richly surrounded by family and love. He is survived by his son Benjamin Allen King IV,his loving parents, Annette Harshaw and Benjamin Allen King Jr.; his siblings, Regina, Dallas, Corrie, and Darryl; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Though we grieve his passing, we find comfort in the promises of God and the hope of eternal life. Benjamin Allen King III will be greatly missed, yet his life of love, dedication, service, and faith stands as a lasting testimony. His memory will remain in our hearts, and his spirit will live on through the many lives he touched.
