Brittany Lauren Brim was the oldest of three children born to Charles Eddie Brim, Jr and Isabel Reyes Brim on September 16, 1986, in Bakersfield, California. When she entered the world, it was clear she would truly be impactful.

Brittany was multi-talented and lit up any room she occupied. She was an inspiration to all who had the opportunity to meet her. Brittany was introduced to the Lord at very young age by her aunt Gracie Reyes and grandmother Louvenia Brim. She had a strong love of God and was the founder of Women of Hope Ministries. All who heard Brittany sing were touched and many felt she had a voice of an Angel. She cultivated her voice by singing with the Bakersfield Master Chorale. There was not a challenge that Brittany didn’t face head on including Taekwondo, teaching Zumba and even participating on the Special Olympics Soccer and Basketball teams.

Brittany was booked and busy always remaining active and participating in any environment she was in. In her 39 years she accomplished many things including graduating from the V1 Bible College, receiving recognition from the President of Toast Masters International, a member of Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce and Bakersfield Women’s Centers. Brittany was also actively engaged in activities that impacted the community, often volunteering for causes that were important to her. Brittany was very special to her family, and they were equally as special to her.


She leaves to cherish her memory her father Charles Eddie Brim, Jr, mother Isabel Reyes Brim of Bakersfield, Ca, two younger sisters Brandy Brim of Bakersfield, Ca, Breana Brim of Los Angeles, Ca, nephew Niko Charles Brim of Bakersfield, Ca and grandfather Charles Eddie Brim, Sr of Bakersfield, Ca; A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brittany was preceded in death by her grandmother, Louvenia Hollowell Brim. Grandparents, Jose Lopez Reyes, Isabel Jimenez Reyes and Aunt Gracie Reyes.

Brittany’s love and light touched everyone. Her bright light and joyful.
