Cameron Dangerfield

Cameron Dapri Dangerfield was born on July 19, 2005, in Bakersfield, California,

to Tamisha Harrison and Jovon Dangerfield. Growing up, Cameron was

affectionately known by many nicknames, including CamBam, Cam, Cam B,

Young Cam, and most recently, Cam the Great.

Cameron grew up in Wasco, California, where he attended Teresa Burke

Elementary School. His football journey began at age 7, when he played for the

Shafter Gladiators in the Golden Empire Youth Football (GEYF) program. In

seventh and eighth grade, he continued playing with the Wasco Bengals in the

same league.

While attending Thomas Jefferson Jr. High School, Cameron served as the

eighth-grade class president, and he was honors of ceremony of his graduation.

He briefly attended Wasco High School, where he continued playing football for

the Tigers, before transferring to Liberty High School in Bakersfield during his

freshman year. At Liberty High, Cameron continued his football journey with the

Patriots.

During the 2021–2022 season, the Patriots won the Valley Championship, and

during the 2022–2023 season, they captured both Valley and State

Championship titles. After graduating from Liberty High School in June 2023,

Cameron attended Fresno State University for a short time before discovering his

passion for a career in sales.

Cameron began his professional journey in sales with SoCal Premier Marketing.

In July 2025, he joined the Liminal Innovations Inc. team, where he quickly

excelled. Cameron achieved several notable accomplishments during his time

with the company, including ranking number 4 in the country, becoming a team

leader, and helping to build the San Luis Obispo office to the number one

position in the company’s starting category, and later advancing it to an even

higher category. Most recently, Cameron helped launch a new territory in a

completely new program in Sacramento, California.

Beyond his academic, athletic, and professional achievements, Cameron was

deeply committed to humanitarian efforts and serving others. From a young age,

he was passionate about helping the less fortunate, often participating in service

projects and ministry work. He later began to distribute clothing to the less

fortunate. Cameron had plans to incorporate it as a nonprofit organization to

provide clothing throughout the Fresno area.

Cameron was also a creative and talented writer. He expressed his emotions

through poetry, stories, and songs, demonstrating a remarkable command of

language. His musical talent led him to release songs on Apple Music and

Spotify, with his first song debuting while he was in fifth grade. Writing and music

were not just hobbies for Cameron; they were a true reflection of his heart,

creativity, and desire to connect with others.

Cameron was baptized at a young age and became a member of the D Street

Church of Christ in Wasco, California. In May 2023, he began attending

Discovery Church in Bakersfield, California. Although he had moved away,

Cameron continued to participate in church through online livestreams, remaining

connected to his faith community.

On October 25, 2025, Cameron went to be with the Lord, and he will be greatly

missed. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Levester Harrison Jr.; his

great-grandmothers, Gladys Jeffers, Barbara Harrison, and Dorothy Barnes; his

uncles, Alonzo Jeffers, George Jeffers, and Victor Harrison; and his aunt, Regina

Reese.

Cameron is survived by his parents and stepmom Cynthia Dangerfield; his

siblings, Nevaeh Dangerfield and Jovon Dangerfield II; his grandparents, Marie

Harrison, Charles Dangerfield, Darlene Dangerfield, Victoria Nelson, and Melvin

Nelson; his great-grandmother, Armida Dangerfield; his great-grandfather,

Levester Harrison Sr.; his uncles, Perry Harrison, Clint Harrison, Brent Harrison,

Markus Anderson, and Melvin Nelson; his aunts, Roteshia Harrison, Lakiria

Anderson, Myteka Mullen, Kemrie Harrison, Natalie Harrison, Dee Dee Harrison,

Diana Harrison, and Tabitha Smith; and a host of cousins and other loving family

and friends.
