Leon Banks

Leon Banks aka Wally, aged 73, passed away on November 14, 2023, in Fresno, CA. He was born on March 23, 1950, in Bakersfield, CA to Napoleon and Edna Banks. He was a proud resident of Bakersfield most of his life and a student at Bakersfield High School. Early in his life he became a father to Michael, Lois (Elvis), and Crystal Banks. In 1980 he met Karen Davis and later married in 1985. With this union four children were born Edwina, Shalon, Leonard, and Cleon. 

 A simple man to the universe that loved the outdoors. Wally took pleasure in fishing, hunting, and gardening. He also had a love for sports and was devoted Lakers and Golden State Warrior fan. Wally spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking his family and friends their favorite meals. 

He is preceded in death by his father Napoleon, two sons Leonard and Elvis, bother Leonard. May they all rest in peace.

Wally is survived by his wife Karen, sons Michael and Cleon, and daughters Crystal, Edwina and Shalon. Mother Edna, sisters Dana and Diane, brothers Larry and Michael and a host of grandchildren.
