Lorna Thiebaux, born in Jamaica in 1964, lived a life defined by love, resilience, and meaningful accomplishment. In the mid-1980s, she immigrated to Canada, where she proudly became a citizen, earned her degree, and raised a wonderful family. Lorna was known for her warmth, intelligence, and the way she made people feel truly seen and cared for.

In Canada, Lorna dedicated her career to public service, working for the federal government with pride and professionalism. In 2014, she began a new chapter in California, reuniting with and marrying her high school sweetheart, Aaron Thiebaux, later becoming a citizen of the United States, and continuing her career in the tech space. She was admired for her beauty, brilliance, and kindness, and her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her.

Lorna was also a true creative at heart. In recent years, while bravely battling cancer, she returned to her love of art and took up painting, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her spirit and strength. She poured special pride into her handmade cards, each one a small work of art, and those cards will be cherished by everyone who received them. Lorna also adored her dogs, Malachi, Georgie, Kenny, and Lucky, who brought her constant comfort and joy.

Lorna is survived by her devoted husband, Aaron Thiebaux; her beloved children, Lewin Prehay and Alexandria White; her stepchildren, Tracey Prehay, Andrew Prehay, Danielle Talbot, and Xavier Thiebaux; her cherished grandchildren; her loving mother, Virtue Martell-Middleton; her siblings; and many relatives and dear friends. She loved her nieces and nephews deeply and held a special place in her heart for each of them.

Though deeply missed, Lorna’s legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
